2026 MIA Open and Working Bee

Our incredibly popular flagship event – the MIA Open – is upon us again (already!?) this Saturday 6 June to Monday 8 June 2026 (The King’s birthday long weekend).

It’s a wonderful tournament that has been running for over 100 years, features players from all over Australia and caters to all levels/ages from beginner to advanced. It includes fun social events like parent-child doubles and centenary doubles (where both players’ ages must exceed 100), as well as Tennis Australia Sanctioned J125 and OC events.

It’s usually sold out well in advance, so register here quickly!

We’d also love it if you could join us for a
Working Bee at the clubhouse – 9am, Saturday 23rd May
to help get the courts ready for the tournament.
Lunch and Cake will be provided!

As a volunteer-run club, we rely on help from members to make this event a success.

If you are able, and would like to assist with this working bee, or any way during the lead up to, or on the weekend we have a multitude of different areas that need volunteer support – from Canteen Service, to food prep, to general grounds preparation and maintenance, and more. We are very appreciative of any and all volunteer support, so please get in touch with Oliver Jacques (0498843181) to work out how you can help make this incredible event an even bigger success!
