Griffith Junior Squad players had the awesome experience of meeting Evonne and having photos taken with her. Yvonne graciously shared  with the squad players excerpts of many parts of her journey including her early days in Barellan, trying to beat her best score on the hitting wall each day by recording her score drawn in the dust. Evonne along with her husband Roger will be back in Griffith in the near future to run an indigenous day at the Griffith Tennis Club.
